Jessie and Kelsey are head over heels for each other, and pretty much always have been. They met in Somerville at the always-lively The Burren in 2013. Jessie mentioned that she loved skiing, and Kelsey’s now sister-in-law dragged her over to Kelsey to talk all things slopes. They met each other’s friends and family quickly, and moved in after a year of dating. When you know, you know.
They do everything together – skiing, sailing, hiking, sunbathing on the beach, playing with their cat Frankie. Every week for years now, they have “WTF Fridays,” or “wine to the face Fridays” Jessie and Kelsey had an incredible engagement session in Acadia National Park (peep it here!), and knew they wanted somewhere scenic and outdoorsy for their wedding day, too.
Cue in Beech Hill Barn, an adorable rustic farmhouse and barn in Pittson, Maine (way up there!) The ceremony was on a hill overlooking the rolling hills of Maine. There wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd, as Jessie and Kelsey wrote their own vows. The owner of Beech Hill surprised Jessie and Kelsey by bringing out a horse for their portrait session – you can’t get more rustic than that. There were mini jars of Maine blueberry jam for name cards, so their guests could leave the wedding with something sweet. The Epic Photo Booth was in the house too, and Jessie made a gorgeous custom photo booth backdrop from flower garland on Etsy that matched the flower pattern on her dress perfectly. They danced the night away in the barn, and are so excited to be honeymooning in Mauritius! Congratulations, Jessie + Kelsey!
