Jenna & Clay could spend every day of their lives hoping from National Park to National Park. They’re adventure junkies who love going on helicopter rides, soaring in hot air balloons, snorkeling through underwater caves – so it was fitting that Clay proposed in front of a heart shaped rock in Joshua Tree. They live in Boston with their two beloved labs, where you can find them getting Mexican food or snuggling on the couch.
They decided to get married at Tower Hill Botanical Garden, where guests can dine next to exotic plants and the great outdoors is celebrated to the fullest! They decorated the space with pampas grass – in the bouquets, on tables, and on their DIY hexagon ceremony arbor (that they later re-purposed as the photo booth backdrop). And of course, they had to honor their favorite pups with custom jean jackets with paintings of the dogs on them!
Jenna & Clay wanted to give their guests the ultimate wedding experience – there was a flash tattoo station during cocktail hour, custom cornhole and What Do You Meme games to play, and a deliciously unique menu with items like coconut crusted chicken and watermelon feta gazpacho! YUM! Did I mention the keychain bar? Guests found personalized keychains at their seats, and could visit the bar in the hallways to decorate them with boho accessories. And of course, they had the Scarlet Roots Epic Photo Booth – and all the guests had a BLAST with it!
Congratulations, Jenna + Clay! Thank you for trusting me to capture your special day!
Happy honeymooning in Iceland + Spain! XO, Jules
